I'm Lying Naked On The Floor
And Eating Dust Of Death More And More
I'm Hearing Voices Behind The Door
I See You Moving Like A Dirty Whore
The Stars Are Shining Like Your Eyes
With A Glowing Scarlet Light
The Devils Built Me A Throne
I Will Never Come Back Home
Leaving On A Midnight Lullaby
Like A Sharp Knife
Cutting A Butterfly
Smiling, Beneath The Moonlight
I'm Breathing The Ashes Of This World
This Curse Is For The Day You Were Born
Collapsing Through The Corridor
Wake With A Kiss From My Favorite Whore
The Stars Are Shining Like Your Eyes
With A Glowing Scarlet Light
The Devils Built Me A Throne
I Will Never Come Back Home
Never Coming Home
Under This Light I'm Freaking Out
Losing Control Of Body And Soul
The World Is Ending In A Blackout
Under This Light I'm Creeping Out
Climbing The Graves
And Ripping My Soul
Your Star Is Dying With My Phantom
I've Seen The Fall Of Your Scarlet Star
And The Tears From Your Eyes
I've Heard The Fall Of Your Scarlet Star
And A Scream From The Darkest Sky
I Keep Every Tear You Cry
And Your Pain In A Jar

Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10 RJ
I saw Maggot Heart opening for Messa in DC and I was blown away! This was a time when you hear someone live for the first time and you know you will be hooked when you go home and check them out. They sounded as great, ferocious, and huge live as they did on this record: MASSIVE beautiful tones from all three instruments stitching together phenomenal, twisting, beguiling, serpentine dark songwriting and well-written, razor-sharp lyrics delivered with a spine-tingling intensity. Come back to DC! pinkytheent
Featuring members of Noothgrush, Graves at Sea, and more, the Oakland metal band juxtapose cavernous doom with spaced-out shoegaze. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 21, 2024
An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
